Make the Gods happy and your parents proud
From the moment we could think
We were taught not to think for ourselves
Critical thinking you’ll never need it
Every decision already made
It was decided upon by our beliefs
Now we band together to cancel anything that doesn’t agree
Blame everyone for the world’s problems
But if we stripped away everything we were told
What would be left behind that is truly us?
