Though I never say it 

I still think of you

For my greatest lesson and most regretted mistake 

Both involved you

No way to ignore that 

Impossible to forget 

I no longer have to stop everything 

Just to remember you

Now it has become a flash of our moments spent

All felt and relived in an instant 

And in that instant I’m returned to the present

I can never forget you

But I’ve learned to let go 

Instead of holding onto the memory

Wherever you are 

I hope you found happiness
