A broken me
Shattered mind
Body abused and rotten
No sense of value
Disregarded the worth of time
Compass was spinning
No direction set
World was upside down
I was unhappy with me
Decided to change what made me unhappy
It seemed like a long time
Pieced together my mind
Stopped the rot and cleaned up
Closed the compass
Picked a path to take
Discipline won were motivation had failed
The other person
A foreigner to me
I move forward with purpose
Know the worth of every second
What changed
I yelled
Wake up
I clapped loud
Until I woke up
Looked around
Found a better person to be
