The First Step

Walked for miles

My feet hurt

Shoulders ache

Shins burns

Breathing heavily

Heartbeat is all over the place

I raise my head to look forward

There is nothing for me on the ground

My path lies in front of me

I will get there

Even if it takes one step at a time

I will get there

The journey was never meant to be easy

It was suppose to challenge me

Change the person I was

To be the best person I can

The one who finishes this journey

Will not be the same person that started it

I will keep going

Remember to drink lots of water
