Weird universe I live in
It steers me towards my fears
Guides me to the edge
It leads me to jump
Always aware that I’m not alone
Knowing that many have done this before
A fear consumes me throughout the fall
Uncertain if I will soar or crash
Not until the last moment will I know
At the same time if I crash it won’t be the end of me
Take a moment while on the ground to gather what went wrong
What I did wrong
Dust myself off and get up too try it again
Funny how the universe knows more about me than I do
Follow my gut and it will make all the difference
Now bring my toes to the edge
Bend those knees and jump
Feel the wind at it tries to catch me
