What storm is next
It’s all too quiet
I’m not being negative
I just know life all to well
The winds have hushed
The air has changed
My skin can feel the difference
I stand outside looking around
Trying to predict where it’s coming from
The hairs on the back of my neck stand
The next storm might already be here
Be it literal or metaphorical
It’s past the road
At our front door
No clue on what it brings
Just know to be ready
It’s all too calm and peacefully
Life never lets peace last forever
I will take in this moment
Remember it, too later see it in my dreams
Never have I seen such clear and bright blue skies
The air so fresh and crispy
Close my eyes to let the sun warm me
A cool breeze makes its presence know
The light starts to deminish
Goosebumps raise my skin
The calm is broken
The storm has arrived
