It’s quiet today
The voices aren’t screaming
No guilt to choke me
I’m making progress
Looking forward to tomorrow
I’m getting better
I count today as a win
A victory
Today my demons took the lose
I took my life back
Today was mine
Til tomorrow, when another battle begins
For now, I will enjoy today and smile
Enjoy the small victory
There will be enough defeats to come
Today wasn’t one
So I will smile today and live in this moment
