Job Remorse

We work for the success of someone else

Clock-in to jobs not careers

Dread the phone call and e-mails

Success is showing up

Daydreaming of other things you would rather do

Pick up smoking just to be able to take more breaks

You work on other peoples projects

People who are living their dreams

People who are getting paid for their value

While you just get paid for your time

One carries a higher value

Misery follows those who hate their jobs

Bitterness feeds on the morale of broken spirits

Not wanting to go to sleep

Because that would mean I have wake up

And go to the job I can’t stop stomach

Simply put why can’t I live the life I dream

Day #100 SJD
