Almost Done

I tried and was beaten today

So close to being done and all set

Then I got greedy and added something not needed

Now I’m back at square one

All of today’s hard work lost

Tomorrow I start back from one

The frustration of having come close to being done

So close to touching the sun

Only to get burnt and drop back down to the bottom

I thought I learned my lesson the first time

Still, there was another lesson to be learned today

At least now I know what to do

Tomorrow will be fast and easier

Once I’m done, I won’t dare touch the sun

Just be confident and humble

Deep breathes and relax

Tomorrow another test, this time I’m ready

I will make it to the end

It will get done

Can’t wait for this challenge

It stopped me today

But not stop me tomorrow

Now to get some rest

I will need it to win tomorrow
