Running on tired
A seemingly endless race with no end in sight
No idea if it will bring a prize
Never stopping to question why I continue to run
Will this ultimately benefit me
Could be running this race till the end
Or this race could be running me into the ground
Looking for a sign that progress is being made
Being told not to get discouraged
That the finish line is in sight
I’m almost there
Running on faith alone
All options have been exceeded
Stop now and lose all this progress
Continue and hope to make it
Running an endless race and coming up on empty
