I can’t wait to get home.
Open the door and drop my stuff on the floor.
Kick off my shoes leaving a trail.
Turn on the TV and walk to the fridge.
I get a beer, aww nice and cold.
Pick up the phone and order Chinese food.
They know my number and my order; I hang up.
They are my Cheers.
Find a game to watch, and get another beer.
Food is here, get up to get the food and grab another beer.
Look at the window, where did the day go.
The game ends, food is finished and I get another beer.
Turn on my Playstation to play into the night, don’t forget the beers.
No wonder my life is in a loop.
No path forward, only a dog chasing his tail.
The only positive, I keep my place clean, that’s something I guess.
